Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I went through disposable cameras faster than my parents could buy them, filling shoeboxes with snapshots of friends, family, and everyday life.

Then I became a mom.

Somewhere between first steps, missing teeth, bedtime stories, and ordinary Tuesday afternoons, photography became something entirely different.

I realized the photographs I'd treasure most weren't always the perfectly posed ones.

They were the ones that reminded me exactly who my children were in that season of life.

The way they laughed.

The way they ran barefoot through the grass.

The way they reached for my hand without thinking.

Today, that's how I photograph every family who steps in front of my camera.
